Clear View is a place where deeply troubled children can feel accepted, understood and appreciated so they can begin to reach out from their isolation and find guiding adults with whom to engage. Each member of the staff is committed to make the deepest personal and professional effort possible to reach that goal.
The children of Clear View receive the care and attention of some 65 highly qualified mental health and special education professionals each day. They include clinical social workers, psychologists, mental health counselors, speech and language clinicians, crisis counselors, school nurse and program supervisors who work with individual children and families. Certified special education teachers and assistant teachers, trained and experienced in responding to the needs of children with emotional disorders, offer small group and individual instruction and guidance in classes of six to ten children. A full time child psychiatrist provides psychiatric services as well as supervision and oversight of the clinical program.
All staff members – clinician, buildings and grounds worker, teacher, secretary, transportation provider – participate in the welcoming, affirming safety net of the therapeutic milieu and are wholly dedicated to each child’s individual well being and recovery.
